MYMENSINGH: A Mymensingh court on Tuesday awarded death penalty to two people in a sensational case of farmer Shahed Ali murder.

The court also sentenced jail to nine others people in various term in the same case.

District Special Sessions Judge Humaiyun Kabir passed the verdict.

The convicts are Abdul Gafur and Abdul Hekim. Of them Abdul Gafur is fugitive.

The case statement reads: On April 16, 2003, the convicts killed farmer Shahed at Dutta village under Ishwardi upazila of the district over a land dispute.
