DHAKA: Regent Airways, the leading private airlines of Bangladesh, launched flight to its second International destination Bangkok, Thailand from Wednesday.
Regent Airways will operate four flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) between Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka routes weekly.
The maiden flight RX 780 departed from Hazrat Shahjalal Int’l Airport, Dhaka at 09:20am (local time) and arrived at Bangkok International Airport, Bangkok at 12:40 pm (local time). The return flight RX 781 departed Bangkok at 14:00 pm (local time) and arrived in Dhaka at 15:25 pm (local time).
Customers can purchase economy class ticket from Tk 20,707 (round trip) and business class ticket at Tk 35,487 (round trip) inclusive of all govt. taxes from authorized travel agents, Regent Airways sales offices and Regent Airway’s website www.flyregent.com.
The airline will operate flights with its newly acquired two Boeing 737-700 aircraft with 114 economy class and 12 business class seats. This will facilitate to the passengers a comfortable feeling and enjoyable latest in-flight entertainments on board during the journey.
Civil Aviation & Tourism Minister Lt. Col. (Rtd) Muhammad Faruk Khan MP, Civil Aviation chairman Vice Marshal Mahmud Hussain, Regent Airways Managing Director Mr. Mashruf Habib, Chief Executive Officer Dr. Abdul Momen, and other high official of the company were present at the flight launching event.
