DHAKA: After a three-hour halt, the rail communications on Dhaka-Chittagong-Sylhet routes restored on Thursday morning.
Earlier the rail services on the routes halted at around 5:45am as a compartment of Chittagong-bound Turna Nishitha train disconnected.
The rail service resumes at 9:15am, sources said.
Wishing anonymity an official of Pahartali railway control room told banglanews that a compartment disconnected from others in Gunbari area under Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong that snapped connection of the district with Dhaka and Sylhet.
