MAULVI BAZAR: Police nabbed around 27 muggers including 26 women from several Puja-Mandaps in Kulaura area of the districts on Saturday morning.

Police source said that on information, the law enforcers in a nightlong drive picked up them from several Hindu worships of the area.

The accused snatchers admitted their involvement in snatching mobile phones, gold ornaments and other valuables from pilgrims.

Kulaura police station Officer-in-Charge M Hasanuzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
