LAMA (BANDARBAN): At least 30 people were injured as passenger bus overturned on Lama-Chakaria road in Linejhiri area at the upazila of the district on Saturday noon.

Local people rescued them and admitted to Lama Upazila Health Complex.

Witnesses said a Lama-bound passenger bus turned turtle knocking a hill as the driver lost control over the steering, leaving 30 people injured.

Bus driver Hashem managed to flee the scene.

Officer-in-Charge Lama Thana M Shahjahan Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
