NATORE: Two persons were killed and 35 others injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a truck on Natore-Rajshahi bypass road in the district on Sunday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be found immediately.

Witnesses said a Chapainawabganj-bound bus collided head-on with a cattle-laden truck in the area at around 6:00am, leaving two dead on the spot and injured others.

Natore Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Aslam Hossain confirmed the matter.
