DHAKA: Bangladesh ended August with 36.25 million internet users, up from 35.63 million internet users in June.

Most internet subscribers connected via mobile technologies, with the BTRC reporting 34.71 million mobile internet users, up from 33.90 million in June, followed by 1.22 million fixed-line internet users, similar to the number in June.

The Wimax internet base stood at 315,297 versus 504,808 two months earlier.
