PM says door to talks open

DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also president of Awami League said the door to talks still open to resolve the future political crises.

She came up with the assertion while exchanging eid greetings with the journalists at the Gonobhaban on Wednesday.

Prime Minister said, “All the doors of discussion are open for them. I do not have any problem to discuss.”

In answer of the opposition leader’s assertion about not participating in the election under the incumbent government she said, “She (Khaleda Zia) can not say so if she believes in democracy.”

Indicating the opposition leader, the premier said: “She would participate in the election if she believes that the people will cast vote for her.”
