DHAKA: A passerby was run over by a rashly driven bus in Dainik Bangla intersection of the capital on Thursday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Sources said that a bus of JM sitting service rammed the passerby as the driver lost control over the steering, leaving him dead on the spot.

Confirming the matter, Paltan Police station Sub-Inspector Shyamol told banglanews, “Following the incident, police held the bus helper.”
