DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will sit in a meeting with the leaders of the new convening committee of the party’s Dhaka city unit on Tuesday night to resolve the ongoing crisis over the unit. 

The meeting will start at 8:30pm at BNP chief’s Gulshan office with Khaleda Zia in the chair. 

BNP Media Wing Officer Shamsusdin Didar confirmed the matter to banglanews.

All the designated leaders have been asked to attend the meeting timely.

Following the repeated failures of the previous city unit committee, BNP chief Khaleda formed a 52-committee afresh, making BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas and Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal president Habib-Un Nabi Khan Sohel as the convener and the member secretary respectively.
