DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday said Awami League stopped the talk shown at television channels to hide its corruption because eminent citizens criticized the party and AL does not even tolerate criticism.

Khaleda made the remarks at a meeting with the leaders of the port city Chittagong district unit of Hindu-Bouddha-Christian Oikya Parishad at her Gushan Residence in the city on the night.

BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, BNP standing committee members Gayeswar Chandra Ray and Dr Moin Uddin, joint secretary Salauddin Ahmed, among other, presented there.
