DHAKA: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamagir will brief the media on decisions taken at Tuesday’s meeting of 20-party alliance on Wednesday morning.  

JAGPA president Shafiul Alam Prodhan said it on Tuesday night after emerging from the one and half an hours emergency meeting.  

Mirza Fakhrul, coordinator of 20-party alliance, will hold a press conference at 11:00am at BNP’s Nayaplatan central office.

The emergency meeting was held at the BNP chief’s Gulshan residence at 8:30pm Tuesday with BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, also chief of the 20-party alliance, in the chair.

Bangladesh NAP chairman Jebel Rahman Gani told banglanews that in the meeting, a motion condemning Abdul Latif Siddique’s remarks on Hajj and Tablig Jamaat has been passed unanimously. 

Besides, next course of action plan was also discussed in the meeting. But no programme has been finalized. BNP chairperson will finalize the next programme after sitting with BNP policy making forum, he added.
