CHAPAINAWABGANJ: Local BNP called dawn-to-dusk hartal for Sunday and Monday protesting the killing of a Chhatra Dal leader during a ‘gunfight’ with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) early Friday.

District BNP unit president Professor M Shahjahan Ali Mian confirmed the matter to banglanews around 11:00am on Friday over phone.

Motiur Rahman, 25, vice president of union unit Chhatra Dal, was killed in a ‘gunfight’ between his associates and members RAB at Shyampur union under Shibganj Upazila early Friday.
