NARAYANGANJ: Police arrested nine activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir in from a procession in the district on Tuesday.

The leaders and activists of Jamaat and Shibir brought out a procession from Mission-para of the town in the morning.

Later, the nine persons were detained from the procession, Banglanews district correspondent reports.

Sadar Model Thana OC Kamrul told Banglanews that the detainees are being identified properly.
