DHAKA: BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi claimed health conditions of its party Chairperson Khaleda Zia has deteriorated further.

The BNP leader told a press conference at BNP's Naya Paltan central office on Saturday (May 5).

Expressing deep concern over the fact, he demanded that Khaleda Zia be given treatment at United Hospital, as she wishes to be treated there.

He also warned that if the demand is not met, folks will come out to carry out their duties, because they will not wait any longer.

Referring to the incidents of killings in Chattagram, and Narsingdi, he termed it an example of misrule of Awami League regime.

The BNP leader also said the government has lost public support. They (AL) have illegally supplied miscreants weapons countrywide to rule the country. That is why, murder takes place all over the country.

At that time, BNP Vice Chairman Altaf Hossain Chowdhury, Dr AZ M Zahid Hossain, executive member Dr Mamun Ahmed, Abed Raja, Aminul Islam, and others were present at the conference.
