KHULNA: A Khulna court on Sunday (May 20) ordered to send four BNP leaders including district unit secretary Amir Ezaz Khan to jail upon surrender on Sunday (May 20).

The three others are—Chhatra Dal leaders Helal Ahmed Sujon, Nazmul Huda Chowdhury Sagor and Sheikh Kamal Uddin.  

They are accused in a case over attacking policemen of Khulna sadar thana on February 8.

They pleaded for bail after surrendering before the court on Sunday.

As the hearing ended, Khulna Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sumi Ahmed denied their bail pleas and ordered to send them to jail. They landed in jail, following the order.
