DHAKA: BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi alleged that the government has offered India everything it could afford, including transit, but got nothing in return.
The senior BNP leader made the remark at a press conference held in the central party office in Naya Paltan on Sunday (May 27).
The Indian foremost newspaper ‘Anandabazar Patrika’ published report saying “Bangladesh Prime Minister sought assistance to her Indian counterpart to continue her regime,’’ Rizvi said.
Criticizing the ruling government, he said, “You will not be able to cling to power, after abolishing democracy, dismantling judiciary, and turning law enforcement forces into your party force. People won’t accept it.”
