Khasru seeks time to appear before ACC

CHITTAGONG: BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury sought one month time to appear before Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), to be quizzed.

Khasru, also a former minister, submitted a plea to ACC regarding this.

The ACC notice sent on August 16 was received by Khasru lately. Besides he couldn’t complete necessary preparation due to Eid-ul-Azha and other business. Therefore, he has sought one-month time to reply appropriate, says the application. 

Khasru was accused in a case filed under ICT Act in Chittagong’s Kotwali Police Station, after an audio clip of him went viral on social media reportedly directing a party activist to join movement in Dhaka.
