DHAKA: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon warned BNP of ‘befitting response’ if they attempt to create disorder in the name of movement.

The mayor was addressing a function on the occasion of National Mourning Day held at Mahanagar Natya Mancha in Dhaka's Gulistan on Friday (August 31).

He said, “BNP can demonstrate in democratic way, but if report of brute force and disorder are found in guise of movement, BNP will be confronted in a befitting manner taking the folks with.

“The new coalition that has been formed is a substitute coalition for BNP’s ‘new conspiracy’. All conspiracies will be confronted no matter what magnitude they are of,” added the DSCC mayor.
