Controversial men won’t get AL nomination in next polls Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader at a campaign rally in Cumilla

CUMILLA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader warned party leaders and activists saying those who became controversial for their misdemeanor will not get nomination from party in the upcoming national elections.

He also said devoted party men do not leave in time of a crisis but only the spring birds (come and go with season) do such thing.

Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, made the remarks while addressing an election campaign rally on Eliotganj school ground in Cumilla on Saturday (Sep 22).

“If you do not uphold and publish the developments that Awami League made and denounce the mischief of BNP-Jamaat alliance then you will not get nomination from the party,” Quader made such warning at the rally.

Urging party men to not create pocket committee (party within party), he said, “Election will be held in December, the month of Victory. Awami League will be victories this time again.”
