DHAKA: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) permitted BNP to hold a rally on Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka, on 22 terms of condition. 

BNP Assistant Secretary General Abdus Salam Azad confirmed the matter to media Saturday (Sept 29).

“We have met the DMP Commissioner. He has given us permission to hold the rally at Suhrawardy Udyan from 2am, on condition of 22 terms,” he said.

The party is set to hold a public rally there on Sept 30.

A BNP team went to meet the DMP Commissioner Asaduzzman Mia, to seek permission for this.
