DHAKA: Demanding the release of its jailed chairperson Khaleda Zia and forming ‘polls-time neutral government’, BNP has started its rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital. 

The programs of the rally formally begin by reciting from the Holy Quran at 2:00pm on Sunday (Sep 30).

Several hundred leaders and activists of the party took part in the rally. Standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain will address the rally as the chief guest while BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will preside over the rally.
