DHAKA: BNP alleges that the government (Awami League) is a drafting a roadmap in advance for the next parliamentary election.

BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi also said that police filed cases against 55 bigwig BNP leaders including Secretary General and standing committee members on ridiculous grounds out of sheer fear.

The allegations came from a news conference organized at BNP’s central office in city’s Nayapaltan on Tuesday (October 2). 

He further said, “The government is even more enraged to see huge crowds in BNP’s rally. Cases are being filed to hold an election of one-sided blueprint. Police materialize their (AL) advanced format by filing cases.

Other BNP leaders were present at the press conference.
