Khaleda denied bail in Comilla murder case

COMILLA: A Comilla court on Wednesday (Oct 3) rejected bail to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in a case filed on charge of burning eight persons to death in Chauddagram of Comilla.

Judge Biplab Debnath of Comilla Cognizance Court-5 passed the order, as the hearing ended on Wednesday (Oct 3).

Now Khaleda’s lawyers will file petition at the district & session judge court for her bail, said Advocate Kaimul Huq Rinku.

On February 3 in 2015, eight people were killed and several others injured in a petrol bomb attack on a bus at Jogmohanpur in Chauddagram of Comilla district during the BNP-led alliance’s movement. Two cases were filed against Khaleda Zia over the incident.
