DHAKA:  BNP, Jatiya Oikya Prokriya (JOP), Jukto Front are going to announce fresh programs soon ahead of national election as they reached a consensus, said BNP leader Barrister Moudud Ahmed.

Moudud Ahmed told reporters during a meeting at the residence of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal’s president ASM Abdur Rab in city’s Uttara on Monday (October 8).

The meeting began at 9 pm and ended at 11:45 pm.

Moudud Ahmed said, “We’ve discussed many issues, which cannot be revealed now. There is unanimity on the demand of a free, fair, and credible election among BNP, Jatiya Oikya Prokriya (JOP), and Jukto Front.”  

BNP, Jatiya Oikya Prokriya (JOP), and Jukto Front will hold another meeting in Dr Kamal Hossain’s residence, president of Gono Forum, on October 11. A draft has already been made. Following the meeting with Dr Kamal Hossain, final program will be announced, meeting sources said.
