DHAKA: The ruling Awami League-led 14-party alliance announced to hold a mass rally in city’s Motijheel area on October 29.
The decision was made in a central 14-party meeting in parliament on Monday evening (October 15).
After the meeting, AL presidium member, central 14-party spokesperson and Health, Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim told reporters that the rally will be held in protest of falsehood and plot created by BNP-Jamaat.
The 14-party will hold rally in Jessore and Chuadanga on October 25, 26 respectively.
Criticizing the recently formed anti-government alliance Jatiya Oikyo Front, Nasim said the isolated leaders want to foil the election in name of unity. Countrymen are united under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina and wont let any plot to be successful. Election will be held.
