DHAKA: New political alliance Jatiya Oikyo Jote led by Gono Forum president Dr Kamal Hossain will hold a rally in Sylhet on October 23. 

Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) president ASM Abdur Rob made the announcement to reporters after a meeting of Jatiya Oikyo Jote at his Uttara house on Tuesday (October 16).

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, JSD president ASM Abdur Rob, vice-president Tania Rob, Nagarik Oikyo convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna among other leaders of alliance parties were present at the time.
