DHAKA: President of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury said the situation in Bangladesh has reached to a certain point where implementation of any dream is very difficult.
Badruddoza Chowdhury made the remarks at the 8th anniversary program of country’s leading English newspaper daily sun at its office in city’s Bashundhara residential area on Wednesday (October 24).
The former President of Bangladesh Badruddoza Chowdhury also expressed greetings to daily sun employees saying, “The path you have passed was glorious and beautiful. I hope you will pass your teenage period and try to implement the teenage dream.”
Eminent citizens, ministers, diplomats and well wishers started attending the celebration programs to extend their greetings at daily’s office at the Bashundhara residential area.
Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir and Director Sabrina Sobhan inaugurated the celebration by cutting a cake.
Speaking on the occasion, the managing director said: “The daily sun excelled in its activities all the times. I hope the newspaper will do even better in the future.”
State Minister of Ministry of Information Tarana Halim, Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Brazilian ambassador in Dhaka Joao Tabajara de Oliveira Junior also attended the program this morning.
