DHAKA:  The Jatiya Oikyafront, the newly-formed political alliance, is willing to hold a rally either at Suhrawardy Udyan or in front of BNP’s Nayapaltan party office on Friday (November 2).

The scheduled time is from 2 pm to evening.

BNP senior joint secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement during a press briefing in city’s Nayapaltan party office early Monday (October 29).

Earlier, the alliance held it first-ever rally in Sylhet on October 24, the second one in Chattogram city on October 27.

BNP is one of the parties of Jatiya Oikyafront formed on October 13.

It includes Dr Kamal Hossain-led Jatiya Oikya Prokriya, ASM Abdur Rab's Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, and Mahmudur Rahman Manna's Nagorik Oikya.

The alliance was formed with the demands of a national election under a neutral government after dissolution of parliament and release of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia from jail.
