PM invites Oikyo Front for talks on Thursday A team of Awami League at Dr Kamal's residence at Bailey Road, Dhaka

DHAKA: Prime Minister also Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has invited the leaders of Jatiya Oikyo Front for holding a dialogue at Ganabhaban on Thursday (Nov 1).

A team of Awami League went to Oikyo Front frontman also Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain’s residence at Bailey Road in Dhaka, around 7:30am Tuesday (Oct 30). They formally handed over an invitation letter to him.

Dr Kamal himself has received the letter. 

Awami League Office Secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap, who was in the team, confirmed the matter to media.

Oikyo Front will set their team at a meeting later in the day, to attend the talks with the prime minister. 

The recently formed political alliance on Sunday (Oct 28) sent a letter to Sheikh Hasina placing a 7-point demand and a set of 11-objective, and calling for a dialogue.

Jatiya Oikyo Front is a recently formed political alliance led by Dr Kamal Hossain, ahead of the 11th national polls of Bangladesh.
