DHAKA: Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad on Wednesday (Oct 31) sent a letter to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to sit with her ahead of the upcoming national polls.

Ershad, as per letter, also wants leaders of United National Alliance to join the talks with the PM.

His political and press secretary Sunil Shubho Roy took the letter to Gono Bhaban this noon.

Earlier on Sunday evening (October 28), Jatiya Oikyafront leader Dr Kamal Hossain sent a letter to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for holding dialogue over the seven-point demand of the political alliance.

In response to the letter, PM Sheikh Hasina agreed to hold the dialogue with Oikyafront on Thursday (Nov 01).

The premier also took decision to hold talks with Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh on Friday (Nov 2) as its President Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury had sent a letter to her in this connection on Tuesday (Oct 30).
