DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has agreed to sit for dialogue with other political parties apart from Jatiya Oikyafront and Bikalpadhara Bangladesh. 

Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, claimed that “World community has welcomed the initiative of dialogue. 

The minister made the claims to reporters following a meeting with envoys of France and Germany at the secretariat on Wednesday (October 31).

Quader said, “They’re very hopeful that a fair election will bring about through dialogues. They’re informed about electoral code of conduct. Two envoys see the initiative of dialogue positively.

“The prime minister is very sincere about dialogues, but time and schedule must be considered in this regard. The premier is under a tight schedule. She has to make time within the schedule,” Quader added.
