Other leaders of Oikyafront were present there.

“After listening to everyone, the premier delivered a pretty lengthy speech. But we hadn’t found any particular solution in it,” added Dr Kamal.

Gono Forum leader Subrata Chowdhury read out a summed up version on the talks.

“The Prime Minister said no obstruction will be imposed on the political programs including meetings-rallies in Dhaka and across the country. The political parties won’t be obstructed to hold rallies at wherever they want,” he said.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said he isn’t satisfied with the talks:

“I’m not very satisfied with the talks and I have said it earlier”.

Fakhrul added that the talks also discussed about the release of BNP chief Khaleda Zia but no specific solution came.
