DHAKA:  The namaj-e-janaza of BNP Standing Committee Member Tariqul Islam was held in front of city’s Nayapaltan party office on Monday (November 5).

The funeral prayer, which was held at 10:20 am, was attended by Jatiya Oikya Front (JOF) leaders, activists of the alliance and others.

Tariqul Islam breathed his last at 5:05 pm at Apollo Hospital in Dhaka on Sunday (Nov 4).

He underwent treatment for 11 days at the hospital.
