DHAKA: Bikalpa Dhara President also Jukta Front Chairman Badruddoza Chowdhury has sent a letter to President Abdul Hamid seeking time for holding talks over the upcoming national polls.
Press Secretary to the ex President Jahangir Alam confirmed the matter to Banglanews Tuesday (Nov 6).
Besides, Bikalpa Dhara Secretary General Maj (retd) Abdul Mannan has sent a letter to Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda seeking time for the same.
B Chowdhury said in the letter the Jukta Front leaders are interested to hold discussion with the President as the Election Commission (EC) works under his authorization.
He requested President Abdul Hamid to set time by Wednesday (Nov 7) for the talks.
Maj (retd) Mannan sought time from the CEC by Friday (Nov 9).
Bikalpa Dhara Organizing Secretary has dropped the respective letters to Bangabhaban and the Election Commission (EC).
