DHAKA: BNP is set to hold a meeting among its standing committee members before sitting with top leaders of the 20-party alliance at chairperson’s party office in Gulshan on Saturday (Nov 10).

BNP standing committee meeting will be held at 5pm. Later, the top leaders of 20-party alliance will hold another meeting, said sources from BNP.

Besides, another meeting of Jatiya Oikyafront may take place at 8pm.

The sources said BNP will decide whether to join the polls, in the meeting. 

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will chair the meeting of the standing committee.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Press wing member Shamsuddin Didar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
