DHAKA: Bangladesh National Team cricketer Mashrafe Bin Mortaza collected a nomination paper from Awami League to contest the 11th national elections from Narail-2 constituency.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza bought the nomination form from political office of Awami League President in city’s Dhanmondi at 1: 45 pm on Sunday (November 11).
The ODI skipper said he wants to make Narail beautiful and modern.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Dipu Moni, party’s Joint general secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak, and his well wishers were present at the party office.
Earlier in the day, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister also Awami League President Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban before buying the nomination form.
Mashrafe gave Salam (salutation) to the premier and sought goodwill from her at the premier’s official residence around 11:30.
