DHAKA:  BNP has started selling the party’s nomination papers for the 11th parliamentary election from Monday (November 12)

Aspirants are waiting in queue to buy nomination papers from BNP’s central party office in city’s Nayapaltan area. 

Sale begins from 11 am and ends at 5 pm, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi told Banglanews.

Party men have crowded in front of the office, though gate is locked yet. First, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s form will be given, then others.

The party fixed Tk 5000 as the price for each nomination form for the general election which will be held on December 23, the party sources said.

However, Tk 25,000 (non-refundable) has to be deposited while submitting the form. 

Earlier in the day, Dr Kamal Hossain-led Jatiya Oikyafront declared to contest the upcoming 11th Jatiya Sangsad elections under ruling Awami League administration.

Jatiya Oikyafront includes Dr Kamal Hossain-led Jatiya Oikya Prokriya, ASM Abdur Rab's Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, Mahmudur Rahman Manna's Nagorik Oikya, Bangabir Kader Siddique-led Krishak Sramik Janata League, and BNP
