DHAKA:  A death-row convict of August 21 grenade attack case and also the then BNP-led government’s state minister for home affairs Lutfozzaman Babar’s wife Tahmina Zaman Sraboni collected BNP nomination form.

Tahmina Zaman Sraboni bought the nomination form for Netrokona- 4 (Madan –Mohanganj-Khaliajuri) constituency from Nayapaltan party office on Thursday (November 15).

Lutfozzaman Babar won the election from this constituency in 1991, and 2001.

October 10, 2018, a Speedy Trial Tribunal-1 of Dhaka sentenced Babar to death in the August 21 grenade attack case.

Tahmina Zaman Sraboni wants to contest the 11th national election as her husband is imprisoned now.
