DHAKA: BNP on Sunday (Nov 18) has started interviewing its aspirants to nominate for contesting in the 11th parliamentary election.

On the first day, nomination seekers from Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions are facing interviews at BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s political office in Gulshan.

A special panel of the party is taking the interviews.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, standing committee members Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar, Dr Moyeen Khan, Goyeshwar Chandra Roy, Nazrul Islam Khan and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury are in the panel.

The nomination seekers from various constituencies across the country collected nomination forms from Nov 12 to Nov 17.

A total of 4,580 nomination forms have been sold, BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi told media at a briefing at BNP central party office Saturday (Nov 17).
