DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said Jatiya Oikyafront leaders have no value at all.

He said: “Oikyafront is just a face of the alliance, nothing else. Their leaders have no value at all.” 

Obaidul Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister made the remarks while talking to reporters after joining a seminar in city’s Radisson Blu Hotel at 10 am on Thursday (November 22).

Obaidul Quader said, “As BNP Chairperson (Khaleda Zia) and party Senior Vice-chairman (Tarique Rahman) are convicted criminals, they (BNP) are now using Dr Kamal Hossain (Jatiya Oikyafront leader).”

“Some new persons have joined Oikyafront, but BNP is leading the alliance. All directions for Oikyafront are coming from London. They are using Dr Kamal and some other leaders. They have no valuable place here,” Obaidul Quader added.
