CHANDPUR: A team of Detective Branch (DB) police arrested BNP’s International Affairs Secretary ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon in a drive carried out at a residence in Chateshwari Road in Chwalkbazar of Chittagong city early Friday (Nov 23).  

Chandpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Jihadul Kabir confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Milon was arrested upon warrants against him, said the SP. 

He was supposed to appear before a court on Thursday (Nov 22). But he didn’t.

In Chandpur, trial in 28 cases against former education minister Milon is ongoing.

Arrest warrants were issued against him in several cases while he was granted bail in several others.
