10 BNP men held over Munshiganj clash The clash site

MUNSHIGANJ:  A clash between two groups of BNP was reportedly occurred over submission of nomination papers in Tongibari upazila of the district. 

The clash between people of BNP's central treasurer Mizanur Rahman Sinha and the central BNP's assistant organizing secretary Advocate Abdus Salam Azad took place at Tongibari market area round 11 am on Wednesday (November 28).

10 BNP men were detained. Vehicles were vandalized and cocktails were exploded following the incident.

“Mizanur Rahman Sinha submitted nomination form at noon. Clash took place outside at that time,” Hasina Aktar, Tongibari Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) told Banglanews

“Mizanur Rahman Sinha submitted nomination form peacefully,” Lohajang Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Kabirul Islam told Banglanews.
