DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Friday (Nov 30) said the government led by his party is better than BNP.

“We have been in power for so long; we don’t claim that we are perfect and unerring. We have shortcomings. Even then we can say that we have tried level best. Our government is better than BNP,” he said.

Quader, also the minister for road transport & bridges, was talking to media at Awami League President Sheikh Hasina’s political office in Dhanmondi of the city. 

“We have tried maximum for development. We have presented development many times higher than the past,” he added.
