CHATTOGRAM: A Chattogram court has ordered to show BNP Central Vice Chairman Giasuddin Quader Chowdhury arrested in a sabotage case filed with Fatikchhari Police Station.
The court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Kamrun Nahar Rumi passed the order on Monday (Dec 3).
Chattogram District Police Court Inspector Bijan Kumar Barua confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
The court has handed down the judgment upon plea from police.
On Nov 22, a court ordered him to land in jail in another case filed over threatening Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with death.
However, Gias submitted nomination forms to contest the 11th national polls from Chattogram-2 and 7 constituencies which were rejected by the Election Commission (EC) on charge of loan default.
