DHAKA: Jatiyatabadi Swecchasebak Dal staged a rally in the capital city Saturday (April 6) demanding BNP chief Khaleda Zia’s release from jail and proper treatment.

A few hundred leaders and activists took part in the rally this noon.

The rally began from the BNP central party office in Nayapaltan and rounded Nightingale intersection. 

BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi led the rally.

Swecchasebak Dal central committee president Shafiul Bari Babu, secretary general Abdul Kadir Bhuiyan Jewel, senior vice president Mostafizur Rahman and organizing secretary Md Yasin Ali, among others, were present.
