Sri Lanka posted a formidable total of 206 runs for the loss of just three wickets in the first Twenty20 international of their three-match series against Bangladesh at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Monday (March 4).
Having won the toss, Bangladesh skipper Nazmul Hossain Shanto opted to bowl first against Sri Lanka this evening.
Opener Kusal Mendis hit 59 runs before he was out after hitting Rishad Hossain straight to Mahmudullah at long-on. Charith Asalanka was not out at 44 while Sadeera Samarawickrema scored 61 not out for the Sri Lankan side.
