DHAKA: Ahead of the ICC Under-19 World Cup in 2018, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) wants to revitalize the younger tigers in full vigor.
It has been learned that the Bangladesh U-19 team will play a tri-nations series along with Sri Lanka, in India next year. As part of the preparedness for the series, the team will start camping in upcoming month.
However, the junior tigers are supposed to play in Youth Cricket League, a four-day match event, before the tri-nations series.
For the latest, the team played U-19 Asia Cup in Sri Lanka, in December last year.
Arranged by Asian Cricket Council, the next edition of U-19s Asia Cup may be held in India in November.
BCB is now trying to manage a home series with the Lankans in October, prior to the Asian U-19s Cup.
However, curtains of U-19 World Cup will be unveiled in New Zealand, in 2018.
