Bawa was picked up for Rs 2 crore by PBKS and Hangargekar got Rs 1.5 crore from Chennai Super Kings. Shivam Dube, Khaleel Ahmed might not have played for India in the last year but they have earned big in IPL auction 2022. Chetan Sakariya was another young pacer who had a big pay day after he was picked by DC for Rs 4.2 crore.
England's Liam Livingstone was bought by Punjab Kings for a whopping Rs 11.5 crore while West Indies all-rounder Odean Smith earned Rs 6 crore after being picked up by Punjab Kings.
Aiden Markram was the first player to be picked on day 2 of the IPL 2022 auction for Rs 2.6 crore by SRH. Ajinkya Rahane went to KKR while big names like Ishant Sharma, Eoin Morgan, Marnus Labuschagne and Aaron Finch remained unsold.
As many as 97 players went under the hammer on the first day of the IPL auction on Saturday.
