Bangladesh have set a 156-run target for Afghanistan in the first T20I at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Thursday (March 3). 

Winning toss, the Tigers opted to bat first and lost eight wickets to manage a fighting score of 155 runs in their disputed 20 overs.

Liton Das scored 60 runs off 44 balls with two over boundaries and four boundaries.

For Afghans, Fazalhaq Farooqi and Azmatullah two wickets each.

Bangladesh included uncapped Munim Shahriar and Yasir Ali in the squad. The host also included Mohammad Naim in the playing XI despite his lean show in the BPL.
